Airports:
- Syracuse, NY (SYR) is a 75-minute drive from Ithaca. This is a larger airport with more flight options and the cost is often lower than our regional airport
- Ithaca, NY (ITH) is about 15 minutes from the hotels and the Cornell campus. This is our small, regional airport. There are fewer flights but it’s very convenient.
You may want check airfare to both SYR and ITH. The taxi/Lyft/Uber ride from SYR is about $120 ($240 round trip). A more expensive flight into ITH may be more cost effective when considering free shuttles to area hotels.
Getting from Syracuse (SYR) to Ithaca:
- UBER/LYFT/TAXI services: Install both the Uber and Lyft apps. Depending on time of day and availability, the prices can vary greatly between the services.
Getting from Ithaca Airport (ITH) to your hotel:
- Many of the area hotels offer a shuttle service between the airport and hotel. Check with the hotel when you make reservations.
- UBER/LYFT/Taxi services are all available.
