Description
This presentation will showcase the newest work to add to the SwissFEL light generation capabilities. Two sets of modulators within which an overlap between an optical laser and relativistic electron beam are being installed and tested to produce new soft x-ray pulse structures and seeded beams. The results from the installation and commissioning of the first structure, put into operation in 2022, are discussed, along with the expectations for the second structure performance and expectations.
