The Materials Solutions Network at CHESS (MSN-C), a partnership between the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Cornell University, will host a targeted workshop bringing together industrial leaders and partners in ceramic and polymer matrix composites. The workshop will highlight the capabilities, expertise, and experimental infrastructure of the MSN-C beamlines, with a focus on leveraging synchrotron X-ray scattering to address critical structure–processing–performance challenges relevant to industry. Through technical presentations and guided discussions, participants will explore opportunities for collaborative research and rapid problem-solving enabled by the AFRL–Cornell partnership.
