Theme: Cultivating Community

The selection of "Cultivating Community" as the theme for the 2025 User Meeting reflects CHESS's deep understanding of the role community plays in our collective success. By focusing on this theme, we aim to highlight the importance of forging meaningful connections, sharing knowledge, and supporting each other in endeavors great and small. This emphasis on community empowers us to drive innovation, foster growth personally and professionally, and shape the future together, ensuring an enriching and impactful experience for all. Please join us in celebrating at the 2025 CHESS User Meeting.

Updates from CHESS:

CHESS leadership, along with program directors and staff, will provide updates on the latest developments within the lab and its surrounding ecosystem.

User Science Talks:

We have extended invitations to experts from diverse scientific domains to share insights into their research endeavors and explain CHESS's role in their respective fields, aligning with the overarching theme of "Cultivating Community.

Student Paper Prize:

Every year, we recognize the best publication by a student published during the past year with the CHESS Student Paper Award. The award includes an invited presentation at the User Meeting. Please consider nominating an outstanding student for the Student Paper Award.

Poster Session:

We encourage you to present your research at CHESS by presenting a poster during the poster session.  More details on the format and submission process TBD here.

Special Viewing Opportunity:

While the 2025 CHESS User Meeting is virtual, Cornell affiliates are welcome to join us in the Physical Sciences Building. Please note that no food, refreshments, or handouts will be provided, but we are delighted to offer a space for gathering and viewing the talks.
